- You will be responsible for driving brand dominance and customer acquisition within your assigned region.
- By leveraging localized insights, you will ensure Moniepoint is the first choice for consumers and that our physical and digital presence translates into measurable growth in market share and accounts opened.</p> <h2><strong>What you will do</strong></h2> <p><strong>Strategic Planning & Budgeting</strong></p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Campaign Planning: Develop quarterly regional marketing calendars aligned with the bank’s national strategy but tailored to local cultural/economic nuances.</li> <li>Financial Oversight: Manage the regional marketing budget; perform monthly reconciliations and ensure all vendors are onboarded and paid per procurement policy.</li> <li>ROI Analysis: Track the "Cost Per Acquisition" (CPA) for all regional activities to ensure high-impact spending.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Local Brand & Identity Management</strong></p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Branding Implementation: Act as the "Brand Guardian" for the region, ensuring all branches, ATMs, and signage meet corporate visual identity standards.</li> <li>Local Media Buying: Identify and manage high-impact local visibility opportunities (e.g., regional radio, billboards in high-traffic markets, or community sponsorships).</li> <li>Competitor Intelligence: Monitor local competitor moves and provide monthly reports on their pricing, visibility, and tactics.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Sales Support & Market Activations</strong></p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Neighborhood Activations: Design and execute high-energy "storming" exercises in key markets, transport hubs, and residential clusters to generate immediate leads.</li> <li>Sales Enablement: Provide the regional sales team with the necessary collateral (flyers, branded merchandise, and digital assets) to close leads effectively.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Community & Relationship Marketing (Added Duties)</strong></p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with local traditional rulers, trade unions, and community leaders to facilitate "entry" into new market segments.</li> <li>Customer Feedback Loop: Conduct informal focus groups or surveys during activations to gather insights on local pain points and product gaps.</li> <li>CSR Coordination: Identify local charitable or community causes that align with the bank’s values to boost regional goodwill.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who you are </strong></h2> <h3 data-path-to-node="1"><strong data-path-to-node="1" data-index-in-node="0">Education & Experience</strong></h3> <ul data-path-to-node="2"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="2,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="2,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="2,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="2,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Experience:</strong> 4–6 years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within the Financial Services, FMCG, or Telecommunications sectors.</p> </li> </ul> <h3 data-path-to-node="3"><strong data-path-to-node="3" data-index-in-node="0">Key Skills & Competencies</strong></h3> <ul data-path-to-node="4"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="4,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="4,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Data Analysis:</strong> Proficient in analyzing market data and performance metrics to derive actionable insights and inform decision-making.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="4,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="4,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Event & Project Management:</strong> Proven track record in planning, coordinating, and executing large-scale events and marketing activations end-to-end.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="4,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="4,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Vendor Management & Negotiation:</strong> Exceptional negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong vendor relationships and secure optimal contract terms.</p> </li> </ul> <h2><strong>What success looks like</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Top of Mind Awareness (TOMA): Increasing the percentage of consumers in the region who name our bank first when asked about financial services.</li> <li>State Penetration Ratio: Growing the bank’s market share within specific districts compared to total addressable population.</li> <li>Cards Sold: Direct impact on the volume of new accounts opened via regional sales initiatives and marketing led activations.</li> <li>Budget Efficiency: Maintaining a variance of less than 5% between planned and reconciled campaign spend.</li> </ul>
